He has thrown himself into filming the latest instalment in the high-octane and iconic film franchise.

And Tom Cruise was every inch the stuntman as he got onto a motorbike to speed through the streets of while filming intense scenes for Mission Impossible 7 on Saturday.

The legend, 58, transformed into Ethan Hunt in a white shirt and a grey waistcoat, and a metallic tie.

He completed his look by wearing a pair of matching grey trousers, while he stepped out in a pair of black ankle boots.

Tom was seen riding on a bike that had been kitted out to look like a police vehicle, suggesting his character had procured it for the chase.

A police car was also seen on set, and it was rigged with a camera on the roof to film both the person in the car and Tom as he drove past.

After shooting the intense scenes, Tom was seen chatting with the crew as he prepared to set off for another take.

Tom has been spotted filming many exciting scenes in the last few months, including taking on motorbike jumps, parachuting and riding on top of moving trains while on set in Norway.

Filming for the upcoming action movie was halted in earlier this year after cases of coronavirus rose sharply. 

The crew and actors have been in Norway filming ever since, before returning to the Italian capital earlier this week to continue with scenes.
