His new film Jurassic World: Dominion has been plagued by delays, with the latest disruption seeing filming halted for two weeks after members of the crew tested positive for COVID-19. 

And Chris Pratt has certainly been making the most of his downtime as he showcased his new skill of solving a Rubik's Cube in under a minute on Friday.

The actor, 41, appeared mightily impressed by his feat after informing his Instagram fans that he'd been attempting to hone his skill 'all year'.

Filming himself, Chris told his fans: 'Rubik's Cube, can I do it in under a minute? Here we go, starting now!'

He then proceeded to attempt to solve the 3D combination puzzle, twisting the cube this way and that with considerable speed. 

The star was full of concentration as he focused on his task, at one point exclaiming: 'Ooh, it's gonna be close!' as the seconds ticked away.

And after successfully solving the Rubik's Cube in under 60 seconds, the Guardians Of The Galaxy star shouted: 'Yes!' 

His spectacular display certainly impressed his followers, with plenty of his showbiz pals commenting on the post.

It comes after Jurassic Park: Dominion director Colin Trevorrow confirmed production had been paused after 'a few' Covid-19 positive tests, but added that the delay was simply a precaution as those who were infected tested negative 'shortly after.' 

The delay comes just days after it was revealed the much-anticipated sequel had been pushed back by a whole year to June 10, 2022, as film releases continue to be delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. 

Colin tweeted: 'Woke up to the news we had a few positive Coronavirus tests on Jurassic World: Dominion.
