A local councillor has claimed the pair broke strict new laws by riding the same e-scooter through the city, which has been forbidden in the country to try and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Lily, 31, has cancelled a string of TV appearances after she and Dominic, 50,were pictured 'kissing and cuddling' in Rome last weekend, while he has returned to his wife Catherine Fitzgerald where he insisted they are still 'very much together.'
Following a rise in cases Italy introduced strict new measures to try and curb the spread of the virus, including a 9pm curfew in public spaces and its own rule of six.
The country has also banned people from sharing electric scooters, which is punishable by a fine of 200 euros, according to The Sun.
Councillor Stefano Marin told the publication: 'The law is quite clear — riding tandem on an e-scooter is forbidden.

'It's a breach of the highway code and a breach of the new COVID laws. You are supposed to maintain social distance and riding tandem on a scooter is not keeping social distance.
'Now we have been made aware of this we shall be investigating. The law is equal for all.'
