Chrissy Teigen makes her first public appearance since losing her son Jack

Chrissy Teigen made her first public appearance since losing her son Jack on Monday evening, as she attended a presidential rally in Philadelphia.

Throwing her support behind democratic candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris, the model, 34, took to the stage with her husband John Legend, 41, and their two kids, to give an emotionally-charged performance.

Chrissy was back in the public eye following her stillbirth on September 30, having documented her heartbreaking loss in excruciating detail on social media, with pictures and a powerful essay about her pain.

The rally took place on the eve of the US election, and during his performance, John took the opportunity to comment on a particular aspect of this year's candidates, and certain famous personalities who have received their support.

In her famed style, Chrissy was documenting the evening on social media in forensic detail and shared backstage shots as well as her post-rally feast of a sloppy joe and onion rings, which she devoured after their appearance on-stage.

It was her first public engagement since losing Jack. Chrissy and John, who tied the knot in in September of 2013, conceived Luna and Miles through IVF treatment, while their surprise third pregnancy occurred naturally.

Chrissy announced the loss of her third baby in late September, just weeks after they had revealed in John's Wild music video that they were expecting again.

John was one of the featured speakers and performers at the Biden rally, in an effort to generate support for the Democratic nominee in Pennsylvania – a swing state.
