Stephen King anthology show Castle Rock is CANCELED one year after season two bowed on Hulu

Castle Rock has been canceled just about one year after its second season aired on Hulu from October through December 2019.

The anthology show is set in the made-up town of Castle Rock, Maine which Stephen King has used as the setting for several pieces of fiction.

Now the program, which was produced by Warner Bros along with J.J. Abrams' company Bad Robot, has come to an end, Variety reports.

The latest season had a top-flight cast including Oscar winner Tim Robbins, Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi and Mean Girls actress Lizzy Caplan.

Meanwhile the first season boasted such names as Oscar winner Sissy Spacek, Heavenly Creatures star Melanie Lynskey, Moonlight actor Andre Holland and hunk Bill Skarsgard.
