Birth control: Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey revealed her mom gave her the pill as soon as she got her period while talking about reproductive rights on Sarah Hyland's Lady Parts web series
'[I] grew up in the South, my mom didn't really talk to us a lot about sex. We didn't have the bird and the bees talk,' she explained. 'Literally once we were old enough to start our menstrual cycle, she put us on the pill.'
'It was like no real explanation. It was like "Oh you can have a baby now, so you take this every day."
Bailey said she's thankful for her mom's intervention, telling the other women: 'I think it was her way of saying "I don't want you guys to get pregnant."'
'Had we not gotten on the pill, because we didn't have a lot of information, I probably would have three or four kids now and my life would have been very different,' the mother-of-one went on.
