Matthew McConaughey and his mother Kay sat down for their first joint-interview, after the release of his new memoir, which details their eight-year estrangement.
The pair, who now have a close relationship, are set to appear on Tuesday's episode of Red Table Talk with hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Among the topics the duo discussed during the intimate chat were his 'sometimes violent' and bloody childhood and decades-long career in Hollywood.

In his book, Greenlights, the star, 51, opened up rebuilding trust with his 88-year-old mom after she previously leaked private conversations to the media.
