The Bachelorette alum Ryan Sutter opened up about his ongoing health battle Tuesday on social media, saying he decided 'to address [his] personal health and the recent attention it has received.'

The Colorado native firefighter, 46, detailed in a series of Instagram posts the issues he said started this past February as he was in a training program with the Denver Fire Department that lasted 18 weeks.

'Towards the end of that process I felt more and more worn out and began feeling occasional "flu like" symptoms,' he said, adding that 'was tested for COVID multiple times but never tested positive.'

'It’s been five months now and, if anything, I feel worse,' Sutter said.

Sutter, who exchanged vows with Trista Sutter in 2003 after they crossed paths on The Bachelorette, said that he's continued to work as a firefighter amid 'a battery of symptoms.'

They include, according to Sutter, 'fatigue - sometimes almost paralyzing, deep body and muscle aches, fevers, night sweats, full body itching with no rash, headaches, neck and throat swelling, congestion, light headedness, nausea, and just general all around not feeling good.
