Outspoken Australian soap star Nicola Charles has received an onslaught of hate on Twitter for praising Donald Trump as the 'best president in modern US history.'
The 51-year-old actress, who rose to fame playing seductress Sarah Beaumont on Neighbours in 1995, sparked controversy on Saturday when she publicly Tweeted about America's tumultuous political climate.

Despite receiving widespread backlash backlash for her beliefs, Nicola doubled down by accusing her critics of having 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' - a pejorative term describing a condition where the mere mention of Trump's name induces hysteria.
