Love Island’s Shannon Singh has revealed that she won a place on Britain’s Got Talent as a child but was too scared to appear on the show.

The former glamour model was unveiled on Monday as a contestant on the ITV reality show’s latest series, which makes its much-anticipated return next week.

And Shannon, 22, who’s more recently tried her hand at DJing and flaunting her figure on OnlyFans, has now told how she's already had a brush with TV fame and previously chickened out of appearing BGT saying she 's**t it'.

Shannon said: 'I will tell you something that's actually jokes guys, so I went on Britain's Got Talent when I was in primary six.

'So I must have been about, I can't remember how old I was, I must have been like 11 or something.

'I went on Britain's Got Talent and I got through, and I sang Alesha Keys No One, bless me.

'And I s**t out, I didn't go on it, I got too scared.'

Speaking about how much she enjoys singing, Shannon added: 'I love singing. I think singing is great.

'When I get a bit drunk I think I get too confident, I sing like a drowned rat.'

Shannon is from Fife, Scotland, and before heading into the Majorcan villa and being watched by millions, told Love Island fans a little bit about herself.

She said: 'I used to be a glamour model when I was 18 or 19. I loved those days, I've got nothing to be ashamed of, they were my glory days.

'Now I'm more on Instagram/ YouTube. I've done a bit of commercial modelling. I can DJ as well.'

Explaining what she's after in the villa, she added: 'I don't feed off looks, I feed off energy, I need someone with personality.

'Just someone I can have fun with. I'm a party girl, I love going out, I'm very social.

'For me it's quite hard to find people who are genuine and looking for what you're looking for. I'm not just going to go with anyone because they're convenient.

'I need to make sure they're for me. Looks – obviously, they've got to be handsome, but if he's a handsome hunk but it's like talking to a brick wall and I'd rather watch paint dry, it's not going to be great.'

Shannon already has 153k followers on Instagram and ahead of her stint on the show has made some very saucy revelations over the past few months.

An unearthed interview with Who's Your Daddy podcast sees the 22-year-old Scotswoman - whose father is from Birmingham but of Indian descent and is an ex-stripper - admit how much she enjoys sex, claiming she has it eight times a day.

Further admissions see her boasting about how she 'likes it rough and tough' and about how confident she is.

'I am very sexually active, I have sex like eight times a day. Not every day but I have a lot of sex. I am very sexually active,' she said during the interview. 'I had sex in the morning yesterday, then in a toilet, then in the afternoon.

'I quite like a bit of rough and tough. I kind of like it rough and I love a bit of morning sex. I love it.'

She went on to add: 'I lost my virginity quite young, I have always been mature for my age. I regret losing it so young. But I was sexually active from a young age. I have always been really confident.'

The would-be star also boasts a glamour modelling background and an OnlyFans page, according to The Sun. 

'When I first started to do glamour my Instagram was so raunchy. I used to have topless photos with censored nipple,' she said, candidly. 'I think sexy content is empowering.

'I don't do those pictures any more as I am trying to be more commercial. I have never done full nude, you have glamour and you have porn.

'Glamour is topless modelling, any kind of vagina is a scope of porn to me.'

She also spoke about her father's career as a stripper and how he and her mother encouraged her own raunchy path in life.

'My dad used to be a stripper. I think it is absolute jokes. I love it. When me and my brother were younger he used to have a silver Honda Civic, he had Sweet Cheeks and pink writing with kisses all over the car to advertise his stripping.

'We were probably ten-years-old when we clocked on that something was different. When we got to secondary school people were like, 'Your dad did my mum's hen do.' I was like, 'Great'. My dad loved it.

'When we were younger we tossed it to the side, at high school it was mortifying now I love it and I think it's jokes.'

She went on: 'My mum fully supported my dad when he was stripping. An Indian, guy stripper you don't see it.

'My mum told me I should do glamour and Page Three. She took the topless photos of me and we sent them to a London agency and I got signed within 11 minutes.

'My agent emailed me and asked if they were real breasts, and then they organised a test shoot.
