Holly Willoughby chuckled as she discussed sunbathing her vagina on This Morning on Tuesday.

Scandinavian sex coach Asa Baav was a guest on the show speaking with Holly, 40, and co-host Phillip Schofield, 59, about the concept of 'yoni' sunbathing.

She explained sunbathing yoni - a term used to describe female sexual and reproductive organs - can help make people feel more sexually confident.

After Holly asked how the sunbathing is done, Asa explained: 'It's about connecting to yourself and your femininity by exposing sunlight to that area but you have to be very careful.

'So it can be from five seconds up to five minutes. Not when the sun is very hot during the day,' she added.

Joking around, Holly said: 'Pass the SPF'. Phillip then chimed in saying: 'So if you haven't got a garden, what do you do? Just lie in a patch of grass in the sitting room?'

Seeing the opportunity for a comical comment, Phillip turned to Holly and asked her to close her curtains when he cycles past.

Keen to find out more, Holly asked: 'Why is it good? Because it's liberating or the sun does something?'

'Yes, it gives a boost of energy but also it's so liberating. You feel very free,' Asa said.

'That's your homework for this afternoon guys,' Holly joked.

Teasing a sneak peek of what to expect on the programme that day, Holly shared a picture of her show notes on Instagram on Tuesday morning about the unusual sunbathing: 'Damn this cloudy morning! … see you on @thismorning at 10am to find out more… SPF anyone? ☀️'

Phillip and Holly were also keen to understand what sets Scandinavians apart from Brits in the bedroom.

Ava replied: 'We are very open minded when it comes to sex and intimacy - being outside a lot, naked and being very natural with who we are and eating.'

Later in the show Holly was left giggling as Phillip encouraged her to reveal whether she thinks underwear should be worn under pyjamas.

'No pants. No pants,' Holly said, before coyly adding: 'Stop making me say "no pants" on TV!'

This left Phil and fellow guests Giles Brandriff and Nick Ferrari laughing alongside the blonde.

'No pants please, we're British!' Giles joked.

With Phil adding: 'To the good folk at the MailOnline - you're most welcome!'

Phil had joked that Holly brought the subject up in the first place, with her insisting she hadn't.
