Bindi shrugs off family rift as she gushes over her wildlife-loving daughter ...

Bindi Irwin might be in the middle of a family rift with her estranged grandfather Bob Irwin, 82. 

But in an interview with Who Magazine this week, it seems all the drama was far from her mind. 

The 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior said she's in her element as a new mother and gushed over her newborn daughter Grace Warrior, who will turn three months old on Friday.

Bindi said her daughter is 'definitely an Irwin' as she loves animals, nature and family adventures around Australia Zoo. 

'Grace loves adventures and she's such a happy, inquisitive little person,' Bindi said.

'We can already tell she's definitely an Irwin.' 

Bindi added that after giving birth on March 25, she's already back hard at work at Australia Zoo.

She said she was able to get back to work as she lives at Australia Zoo and works with her family.

She said that when she works at the zoo, Grace goes with her.

'It makes me so happy because she's always by my side,' Bindi said. 

The Irwin family feud was blasted wide open on Sunday, after Bindi claimed her grandfather Bob Snr had 'ignored her' since she was a little girl and 'returned gifts' the family had sent him.  

The mother of one wrote: 'I really wish that my entire family could spend time with Grace. Unfortunately, my grandfather Bob has shown no interest in spending time with me or my family.'

She went on to claim that Bob had 'returned gifts I've sent after he opened them', and ignored any letters sent from her.

'From the time I was a little girl he has ignored me, preferring to spend time doing anything else rather than being with me,' she continued.

'He has never said a single kind word to me personally. It breaks my heart.'
