Tristan Thompson has been awarded over $52,000 in his libel lawsuit against Kimberly Alexander, the woman who continued to claim the NBA player fathered her young son despite an DNA test saying otherwise.
Thompson, who filed a $100,000 libel lawsuit against Alexander following her ongoing claims, will received $50,000 in general damages and $2,901.95 in costs, according to Us Weekly, citing court documents.
Thompson, 30, originally sued Alexander $100,000 in damages for 'loss of reputation, shame, mortification, and hurt feelings', and said he had not received an endorsement deal in more than a year, according to the site.

However there was found to be 'insufficient evidence' linking the accusations to his business ventures.
The judgement is set to be delivered on July 26.
More than a year ago Alexander went public with accusations that Thompson is the father of her five-year-old child, and she filed a paternity suit last year.
A paternity test taken by Thompson came back negative in January, but Alexander has since claimed that the lab administering the test had falsified the results due to a connection with Kardashian–Jenner family.
