The Project host Lisa Wilkinson has spoken of her 'heartbreak' for Bill Cosby's victims after the disgraced entertainer was freed from prison on a technicality.
Wilkinson, 61, took to Instagram on Thursday to blast the controversial decision to free the 83-year-old comedian following his 2018 sexual assault conviction.
'I am heartbroken today for every woman who suffered at the hands of Bill Cosby…and for every survivor of sexual assault who has felt unheard, not believed, or for one of many, many reasons has simply been unable to tell their story. We see you,' she wrote on Instagram.

Cosby was released from prison on Wednesday, just hours after Pennsylvania's Supreme Court threw out his sexual assault conviction.
Cosby had served nearly three years of a three to 10-year sentence after being found guilty of drugging and violating Temple University sports administrator Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004.
The decision to overturn his conviction was based on how a former prosecutor had promised Cosby he wouldn't be charged back in 2005 and lulled him into incriminating himself.

It comes after Wilkinson shut down a Twitter troll for suggesting her husband, Peter FitzSimons, was 'secretly drinking' despite claiming to be sober for seven years.
Lisa was left unimpressed after receiving an unwelcome response to a tweet she'd posted on Tuesday about her journalist husband's 60th birthday.
'A very happy birthday to the big fella @peter_fitzsimons who packs more into a day than I can in a year. Not quite the big celebration we were planning, but hey, life in lockdown,' she wrote.Insurance Loans Mortgage Attorney Credit Lawyer
