Christina Perri opened up about her heartbreak following the loss of her baby girl, after she suffered a miscarriage in her third trimester late last year.
While reflecting on her devastating pregnancy loss, which occurred just months after she miscarried at 11 weeks in January 2020, the 34-year-old singer detailed her excruciating grief in a raw Instagram Story on Friday.
'When we lost our daughter last November I thought I would never be OK again. I thought I would never laugh or play again or dance again or love again... and for lots of months I didn't,' she told her followers.

Perri continued: 'But then I started trying to heal and learn how to live with the pain and grief right along side of the love & joy.'
'How to find even the tiniest purpose in our tragedy and to find something to learn and grow from and grow towards.' she added.
The A Thousand Years crooner described the power of inner work and healing as a rewarding, 'challenging and exhausting' process.

'It's a doozy. I kept telling myself it would all be better by the summer. it would all be better by ocean city. I thought if we could just make it to ocean city we would be OK. And it was true. We made it here and we are OK,' she captioned a selfie, which showed the ocean behind her.
In December, Perri described her pregnancy loss as 'the worst experience' of her life in a lengthy Instagram post.
At the time, she told the world that while it's been a struggle, she was grateful by the amount of love and support she's received.
