She welcomed her daughter Noa back in February.

And Kate Lawler has revealed that she felt she couldn't tell her fiancé Martin how depressed she was after giving birth to their first child in a candid new interview. 

The radio presenter and mum-of-one, 41, also admitted that she 'resented' her partner when she had their baby.

She told The Sun that the first eight weeks after giving birth were the 'darkest place' she'd ever been to. 

Speaking about Martin she said: 'He really wanted to be a dad and there was a little bit of worry there for him in the beginning, thinking that he'd made me do this. Like: 'Goodness, she's going to blame me for this…'

'And yeah, I definitely had thoughts of resentment, moments where I thought to myself: 'Why did I let him convince me this would be a good idea?

'Why did we do this? Why did I do this? I kept asking him if he'd known it would be this hard? Did he think it would be as bad?'

Kate explained that there were times when she could tell that he 'felt broken too' and said it felt like he 'hated her for being so down'.  

She added that she 'was afraid to tell him how depressed she was' and that having a baby does put pressure on a relationship. 

The Big Brother star went on to say that her partner is 'calm and patient' and that he has been her 'rock', before adding she 'doesn't think she would be here now if it wasn't for him'. 

It comes after Kate burst into tears on social media last Tuesday and told fans she was struggling with her post-pregnancy hormones. 

She emotionally asked fans 'when do your hormones calm down after having a baby?' after admitted she had even burst into tears over football.
