Farmer Wants a Wife star, 40, in tears after being sent home 'for being too old'

Fans were left shocked on Monday when Victorian farmer Will Dwyer sent home beauty therapist Tammy on Farmer Wants a Wife. 

During a heart-to-heart, sheep and cattle farmer Will, 39, told Tammy, 40, to leave his longwood farm which left her in tears. 

Tammy was shocked and said she thinks her age was a factor in Will's decision.

'Look, I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm going to be very honest,' Will began.

'This is so ridiculously hard for me, and I can't even make eye contact with you. You have done nothing wrong, you are wonderful.'

He added: 'The last thing I'd want to do is screw anyone around or play any games.'
