Gwen dated her No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal from 1987 until 1994, when he ended their relationship. The singer went on to write one of the band's biggest hits, Don't Speak, about their breakup.
'We were on tour for Tragic Kingdom for 28 months. We were going through the breakup, and in every interview we were talking about it so we were opening this wound on an hourly basis. It was so brutal but I don't know how we made it through,' Tony, 50, told The Guardian in 2012.

In August 2015 the couple divorced following rumors the British musician had cheated with the family's nanny Mindy Mann.
In a joint statement they said: 'While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.'
