Love Island have delayed Wednesday's episode by an hour to accommodate the football as fans tune in to watch England play in the Euros 2020 semi-final against Denmark.

England collided against the Danish football club for the eagerly-awaited match at Wembley, which was broadcast earlier on Wednesday at 6.30pm on ITV.

And because the game lasts for a couple of hours, ITV2 made the decision to push back their dating reality show, which usually airs at 9pm.

The delay was confirmed at the end of Tuesday's episode.

On a recent installment of Love Island, newly coupled-up Aaron Francis, 24, and Sharon Gaffka, 25, got off to a rocky start after Aaron admitted to the Love Island boys that he's not feeling it with her anymore.

His doubts were triggered on Tuesday's episode when he didn't like the way Sharon spoke to Hugo Hammond, 24, following their plastic surgery disagreement.

The situation saw Sharon and fellow islander Faye Winter, 26, berate Hugo for his use of the word 'fake' during a task which saw the girls detail their plastic surgeries.

On Wednesday's installment, Aaron confronts his pairing in a private conversation at the fire pit.

'I wanted to chat to you yesterday. After yesterday, I didn't really like the way you reacted to everything,' he said.

His partner then defends herself, saying: 'From my perspective, you weren't in the conversation. So when I was talking to him I wasn't yelling.'

'Personally, I do prefer someone a lot more chilled. We get on really well, that's pretty clear. But I do feel like there were a few red flags about,' Aaron says, referring to her fiery personality and yesterday's situation.

He continues: 'Can I see this working long-term? I'm not really sure. I didn't want to continue it.'

Sharon then asks: 'You didn't? Or you don't?'

Love Island viewers witnessed the first under-the-covers fumble on Sunday night's episode thanks to the now unstable couple.

The clinch took place between Sharon and Aaron, hours after she had coupled up with him.

Aaron had been paired with Chloe, and Sharon with Hugo, but neither coupling had any spark.

Will this be the end of the road for Aaron and Sharon's coupling?

Elsewhere, Aaron is in demand on tonight's episode as the two new bombshells, Lucinda Strafford and Millie Court, pick him as one of their three Islanders to cook meals for them.

Fashion buyer's administrator Millie chooses Aaron to cook her starter, Liam Reardon for her main course, and Hugo to make her dessert.

During the date, Millie says to Liam: 'I don't think I've ever met someone who is 6ft 6ins and I find that extremely fit.'

'I need someone like you, I do.'

Liam - who is currently coupled up with Faye Winter - says: 'I think I need someone like you.'

What's more, 21-year-old Lucinda opts for Aaron to make her dessert, Hugo to cook her main course, and Brad to share a starter with.

Aaron asks her: 'Why did you choose me?'

Lucinda replies: 'I feel like you're really good looking, and I feel like we get along really well. You made it to the dessert.'
