Harry Redknapp made his debut on EastEnders on Friday night and viewers were left suitably impressed.

The legendary football manager, 74, popped up in Walford to visit his pal Terry 'Rocky' Cant (Brian Conley) and stopped by the Queen Vic for a pint, much to the delight of Hammers fan landlord Mick Carter (Danny Dyer). 

And his short stint on the square left viewers at home applauding his acting skills, with one even tipping his for success at next year's BAFTA TV Awards.

The episode saw Harry, who played himself, shock residents as he turned up to visit Terry, none more so than Terry's daughter Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), who was convinced her dad was lying about his friendship with Harry. 

After mingling with the locals, Harry then headed into the Queen Vic where he walked in an asked: 'Hello governor, can I get a pint, please?', leaving landlord Mick and wife Linda (Kellie Bright) stunned.

Mick was seen fumbling with his words, begore getting the football legend to sign his West Ham shirt, gushing that he's 'been Hammers since birth, me'.

After Mick declared Harry was 'one of the greatest West Ham managers of all time', the two had some banter about Spurs before Harry declared that Mick had a 'nice pub'. 

The I'm A Celebrity winner then snapped a socially-distanced selfie with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) outside.
