Love Island's Liberty admits she's 'falling in love' with Jake leading to anger ...

They've had eyes for each other from the start of the series.

And on Friday night's episode of Love Island, fan favourite Liberty Poole, 21, admitted she's 'falling in love' with Jake Cornish, 24, in a candid chat with Kaz Kamwi, 26, after going on her first date with the hunk. 

Her realisation about the water engineer sparked shock among fans, who have seen Jake's eyes wandering at 'every blonde girl' in the villa, and warned the blonde beauty that 'a storm is coming' if he strays. 

Liberty and Jake headed out for their first date during the episode, after which she admitted she is officially falling for her man

The blonde beauty made the confession to Kaz when she returned to the villa, saying: 'He’s just such a sexy man. I might be a little bit falling.'

And when Kaz asked her to clarify exactly what she meant, Liberty added: 'I think I might be falling in love.'

Liberty's devoted fans took to the social media platform, sharing their disbelief and anger at the encounter following their date. 

One of the platform's users tweeted: 'Liberty: "I might be falling" The whole U.K: GET TF BACK UP,' while another said 'STOP PUTTING LIBERTY IN THE SAME BED AS THAT MAN FREE HER'. 

Another fan posted a photo of rapper Kanye West screaming in front of an American flag with the caption 'NO LIBERTY NOT THE L WORD'. 

Twitter user @HeDussnt posted screengrabs of Demi Lovato's old tweets which said 'GET A JOB' and 'STAY AWAY FROM HER' and posted them with the caption 'me whenever jake touches liberty'. 

Some other twitter users speculated that Liberty and Kaz are going to be two of the girls left behind while their partners are sent to Casa Amor later in the series. 

@AlexandraTheak1 said: 'Me realising Kaz and Liberty are gonna be victims of Casa Amor' while another said 'me just waiting for casa amor so liberty and kaz can find good men'.

Another said, referencing the casa amor predictions: 'falling in love? liberty, there's a big storm coming'.

Liberty and Jake’s date saw them share a few glasses of sangria as they looked out on the stunning Mallorcan landscape.

The couple even shared a cheeky kiss during their time away from the rest of the islanders.  

While on her date with Jake, Liberty admitted she 'didn’t expect' to find a strong connection with someone so soon after entering the villa.

She told him: 'I didn’t expect to come into "Love Island" and literally find what we’ve got from day one. I do obviously like you a little bit.'

And Jake agreed, insisting that there’s no other girls in the villa he would rather be with despite admitting to Liberty earlier in the series that if there was another blonde that came into the villa, he wouldn't rule out a possibility with them. 

He said during their date: 'You know what I want. You know that I want … I want you. Like, put it in black and white, I want you.' 

The couple previously appeared to be one of the strongest pairs in the villa, until new girls Millie Court, 24, and Lucinda Strafford, 21, arrived on Tuesday and shook the show.

Jake was then seen trying his luck with new girl Millie during a one-on-one conversation at the fire pit on Thursday, who he felt fits his 'type'.  

On Friday's episode Liberty finally confronted her partner, saying: 'I'm not gonna sit here and watch you get to know every blonde girl.'

'I gave you 110% and if you don't want to give me that back, that's fine. But I'm not going to give 110% if you're going to get to know other girls,' she defended.  

The 21-year-old marketing student has been coupled up with the 24-year-old water engineer since the start of this year’s series. 

Some of the other couples also appear unhappy with their current partners on the show.

Faye Winter, 26, is currently paired with Liam Reardon, 21, who wants to pursue a romance with newbie Millie.

Brad McClelland, 26, is making moves on new girl Lucinda, leaving his current partner Rachel Finni, 29, behind.
