The Lightning Seeds are set to reunite with David Baddiel and Frank Skinner for a live performance ahead of England's Euro 2020 final on Sunday.

The gig will take place at London's 229 music venue on Sunday as part of the National Lottery's Revive Live grassroots music campaign, in front of 200 England fans.

It comes as the entire nation prepares to sit down to watch England's Euro 2020 final against Italy at Wembley Stadium, the Three Lions' first international final in 55 years.

Baddiel and Skinner were the masterminds behind the Three Lions football anthem - which was penned 25 years ago and has been frequently sung by fans throughout the tournament.

The band which formed in Liverpool will perform a 30 minute set at the historic  music venue before being joined by very special guests Baddiel and Skinner.

The pair will perform Three Lions (It's Coming Home) to celebrate England's  fantastic run in the tournament.

The song was originally written as the England's anthem for UEFA Euro 1996.

The comedy duo then went on to re-record the track with new lyrics for the 1998 World Cup.

Skinner and Baddiel's song enjoyed a roaring comeback during the 2018 World Cup, in which England got to the semi-finals.

During tournament, it became the first song in UK history to have four spells at No 1.

The song remains a key part of fan celebrations as they often chant the lyrics 'it's coming home' on repeat.

The National Lottery is helping to facilitate the return of live music to grassroots venues this summer, through their Revive Live partnership with the Music Venue Trust.

It is contributing £1M directly to underwrite the touring and production costs of over 300 live performances this summer, enabling the grassroots live music industry to start promoting shows again in the knowledge that the upfront costs associated with touring are covered.

Entry to Sunday's gig is strictly by ticket
