A number of businesses and schools have decided to open later on Monday following the Euro 2020 final.  

So Susanna Reid, 50, thought she'd also try her luck as she joked Good Morning Britain should be renamed Good Mid-Morning Britain to allow for a later start after England's match against Italy.   

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the GMB presenter responded to a thread started by BBC weather reporter Matt Taylor.

The meteorologist uploaded a spoof intro for the BBC Breakfast programme, with the title instead reading 'BBC Brunch'. 

GMB director Erron Gordon then followed up by responding with: 'Matt do you mind if I steal this and launch Good Afternoon Britain?'

Susanna then chipped in with a cheeky suggestion of her own and tweeted: 'Good Mid-Morning Britain.'
