He's ridden a motorbike over a cliff, scaled a 2,716ft skyscraper and narrowly avoided being decapitated in a Samurai sword fight.

But Tom Cruise has now achieved a feat that would make a socialite green with envy.

The Hollywood star, 59, squeezed in not one, not two, but three of the season's biggest sporting events in 24 hours while on a break from filming Mission: Impossible 7 in London.

Feeling the need for speed on Sunday, the Top Gun star was helicoptered into the Duke of Richmond's 12,000-acre estate in Chichester, West Sussex, for the final day of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
