Britney Spears appeared to unwind if only for a moment online.

The 39-year-old legendary performer shared a fresh-faced selfie before breaking into a spirited dance routine to Billie Eilish's song Bad Guy for her millions of followers on Instagram Monday afternoon.

Spears was certainly in her element as she rocked a vibrant red sports bra and green shorts for the impromptu routine just days before her father Jamie and conservatorship lawyers are expected to give proof to a judge that Britney still needs the court order.

Britney stood in her garden wearing a button-down blouse tied up into a knot above her waist in the sweet photo which was simply captioned with a few kiss emojis.

She showed off her favorite moves as she danced in the foyer of her LA-area mansion in another post shared shortly after, with the caption: 'RED!!!!'

The Stronger singer reportedly signed paperwork to bring high-profile attorney Mathew Rosengart onto her legal team as she seeks to end the conservatorship that's been in place since 2008.

'Pursuant to my statement in open court on June 23, 2021, my rights, and my desire to end the above-referenced conservatorship as to my father Jamie P. Spears, it is my desire to choose and retain my own counsel, at Greenberg, Traurig, LLP as set forth above,' the document allegedly reads.

Rosengart, who is a partner in his firm, has had a number of high-profile Hollywood clients, including Steven Spielberg, Ben Affleck and his brother Casey, Sean Penn and director Michael Mann, among others.

Spears is in need of a new lawyer after her previous attorney, Samuel Ingham, resigned from his position last week.

Britney made it clear in court that she would like her conservatorship to end without a mental health evaluation typically required as she believes doctors 'have failed her' in the conservatorship battle.

'She doesn't have much trust for the doctors that she has worked with so far,' sources told People. 'She feels like they have failed her.'

On Monday, a source close to Britney's family told People reported that Britney was 'happy' with her personal conservator Jodi Montgomery.

'Britney is doing well. She is excited to see how everything is moving forward. She is happy that Jodi is pushing back against Jamie's claims,' they claimed. 'She feels like Jodi is very supportive.'

The conservator has expressed her desire to help Britney regain control of her life.

'Jodi has made it clear that she will do everything in her power to help Britney get out of the conservatorship,' the source continued. 'She agrees that Britney's situation is unfair and just not right.'

The insider added that 'Britney still has no contact with her dad.'
