The thriller film Windfall, starring Lily Collins and directed by her fiancé Charlie McDowell, has found a home with Netflix.
The streaming service giant acquired the movie, which was shot during the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, 'in a major 8-figure dollar deal,' according to Deadline.
The cast of the modern-day noir movie, described as a Hitchcockian thriller, also includes How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel and Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons.

The film follows a young couple who arrive at their vacation home only to find its being robbed.
McDowell and Segel developed the story, with Justin Lader and Andrew Kevin Walker penning the script.
'I was lucky enough to make a movie in my hometown (Ojai) during a pandemic with some of my best friends and collaborators,' McDowell, 38, shared in an Instagram post on Monday.
'I think we made something unique and completely outside the box and I'm so excited to share it with you all.
