Timothée Chalamet and Tilda Swinton appeared in good spirits as they attended a photocall for The French Dispatch at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Tuesday.

The actors posed playfully together at the event where they were joined by the film's director Wes Anderson and co-stars Bill Murray, Adrian Brody, Benicio Del Toro and Lyna Khoudri.  

Tilda, 60, cut a stylish figure for the day, donning a bright blue blazer which she paired with matching trousers.

The actress added height to her frame with a pair of silver heels while her platinum blonde locks were in her trademark cropped style.  

Timothée, 25, opted for a laid back look for the event, sporting a printed off-white T-shirt which he wore with black trousers tucked into matching boots.  

Wes donned a pale blue shirt while Bill sported a printed short-sleeved shirt with blue shorts and a white hat. 

Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch follows a group of journalists and is based on the writings of The New Yorker.

Set in a fictional 20th-century French city, the anthology follows the development of a series of stories published in the titular magazine, and it opens with editor Arthur Howitzer Jr. (Bill Murray) on the paper's last day.

The film was originally set to premiere at the 2020 edition of the Cannes Film Festival, however due to the Covid-19 pandemic the event had to be postponed.

One of the film's stars Lea Seydoux, 36, has tested positive for Covid-19 forcing her to miss the premiere.
