Don Cheadle poked fun at the Primetime Emmy nomination he received from a 98-second scene in Falcon And The Winter Soldier.
The 56-year-old actor was recognized in the outstanding guest actor in a drama series category for his brief work reprising his role as Colonel James Rupert 'Rhodey' Rhodes AKA War Machine in episode one of the Disney+ series.
Shortly after learning of the nod, Cheadle took to Twitter to hilariously post: 'thanks, well wishers. sorry, haters. agreed, [shrugging emoji]ers. i don’t really get it either. buuuuuuuuuut on we go…'

Twitter erupted with excited reactions to Cheadle's 11th Emmy nomination including one who wrote: 'Don Cheadle was in tfatws for like a minute and he got nominated for an emmy. king things.'
Another said: 'don cheadle being the only actor nominated for tfatws with two seconds of screentime is a power move.'
He starred in the scene opposite leading man Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson AKA Falcon AKA Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but did not receive a nomination.
