The broadcaster is filming new episodes for its seventh season, reports TV Blackbox. Producers have put out a casting call for participants from a range of backgrounds who must be prepared to answer personal - and often awkward - questions about their lives submitted anonymously by viewers. On the lookout: The ABC's You Can't Ask That is seeking guests to audition for Season Seven of it's wildly popular series The categories for the new season include: Dementia, Bogans, Juvenile Detention, Gay Men, Porn Performers, Heroin Users, Models, Postnatal Depression, Wrongly Incarcerated, Prescription Drug Addicts, Jewish and Adopted. Anyone who falls under those categories is encouraged to apply here. Based on the list, there could be up to 12 episodes in the upcoming season, whereas the previous four seasons only featured eight. 'The input from the public is what makes this show': The ABC says over 10,000 questions have been sent in over the past six series and 427 Australians have 'bravely taken a seat to answer those questions.' 'The blunter and more offensive the question, the more fun people have answering them. Because they’ve generally heard them all before, but it’s rare they get to answer them on their own terms.' You Can't Ask That has been praised for shedding light on the voices, perspectives and challenges faced by a marginalised and misunderstood Aussies.
