Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean has opened up on an awkward exchange he had with Britney Spears, while expressing his support for the pop starlet in her bid to end the conservatorship she's under.
'My thoughts and my prayers are with her, I am 100 percent team Britney,' McLean, 43, said in appearing on "Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM Wednesday, describing the conservatorship she's under as 'completely brutal' and 'asinine.'
In the chat, McLean noted how he crossed paths with Spears, 39, - who is 'pretty much [his] neighbor' - at a cupcake shop in Southern California they both frequent.
