Michelle Pfeiffer is a respected Oscar nominated actress with over 40 movies under her belt including the blockbuster Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil.

But when the former model started out in the late 1970s, she was just another blonde beauty struggling to make her way.

The siren, 63, reminded her Instagram followers of that as she posted an image from her very first acting gig that helped land her a Screen Actor's Guild card.

Fantasy Island was a popular prime time drama starred Ricardo Montalban as Mr Roarke and Hervé Villechaize as Tattoo that aired from 1977 until 1984. 

The looker was a beachy pinup with her hair blonde and worn down in soft waves as she sported a deep California tan to play Athena.

She was standing with other women as they seemed to be greeting a man on the far-away island where people pay to have their fantasies fulfilled temporarily.

The episode was The Flight of the Great Yellow Bird/the Island of Lost Women and it aired in 1978.

Pfeiffer went on to star in Grease 2 with Maxwell Caulfield in 1982 then Scarface with Al Pacino the following year.
