Natalie Imbruglia has revealed how motherhood has changed her and given her 'peace'. 

The singer, 46, welcomed her first child, son Max, one, via IVF in October 2019, at the age of 44. 

She told this week's issue of Stellar Magazine that she had always longed to be a mother.

'Becoming a parent is the most incredible thing that's ever happened to me. It's something I've wanted to do since I was a little girl. It's given me a sense of peace,' Natalie told the publication. 

However the Wrong Impression hitmaker went on to concede that rearing children 'is not for everyone'.  

'There are stigmas out there for women that if they aren't parents what does that mean for them?' she said.

'I'm also aware of the struggle a lot of women are still going through trying to attain that and what it feels like to be left behind. 

'It's important to acknowledge all the women out there, including the ones going, "Ugh, another mother talking about how happy they are."'   

Natalie previously confessed that she felt something was missing from her life – so she turned to a sperm donor to help make it complete.
