Informing fans about the racy scene on Tuesday, the singer explained: 'Had to film a sex scene today. My first one!'
Lovato, 28, added: 'I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately.'
The pop star - who is currently filming new NBC food-related comedy titled Hungry playing the character of Teddy - posted revealing selfie that featured them in black underwear while laying back on a pillow and revealing cleavage.
