As a result, they are said to be rushing to add the finishing touches to the new venue and install all the necessary equipment for the show.
Changes ahead: Love Island bosses are reportedly rushing to build Casa Amor in the hopes of spicing up this year's series
A source told The Sun: 'Everyone is working around the clock to make sure it looks the part, but it's just not quite ready yet.
'As soon as it's done, they're going to have it on screen.'
Variations of the show in both South Africa and the US scrapped the Casa Amor stage of the show and many feared the UK version may be planning to do the same.
MailOnline has contacted Love Island representatives for comment.

Host Laura Whitmore recently addressed the speculation over Casa Amor, saying: 'Casa Amor hasn't happened yet, and that throws a massive spanner in the works. It'll all change.
'I will be there when s*** hits the fan. It is spicy, and we're not even halfway.'Casa Amor. I tells ya. We're saving the extra chilli.'
Casa Amor sees the male and females split up for a number of episodes and sent to another villa.
Producers bring in a number of new Islanders of the opposite sex into the mix as a test of couples' loyalties.
Some of Love Island's most shocking moments have come as a result of Casa Amor, such as, in 2019, when Michael Griffiths decided to couple up with Joanna Chimonides who he met while he was apart from his partner Amber Gill.
Another controversial episode in 2017 saw the girls, who remained in the main villa, receive a postcard with pictures of their partners and their antics at Casa Amor.
The postcard included a picture of Kem Cetinay kissing another girl while away from Amber Davies and Chris Hughes sleeping in a bed with another woman while coupled up with Olivia Attwood.

And, after the show is aired, fans of the series will be able to rent out both Casa Amor and the main villa.
The iconic Majorcan villa, located on the east of the island in Sant Llorenc, des Cardassar, can be rented out at a cost of £3,000 per week.
Fans can also stay at sister villa Casa Amor - if the main villa wasn't their type on paper.
However, a stay at Casa Amor, known as Arta East and South East, could possibly cost guests up to £5,000 more per week than the original villa.
For now though, the drama in the Love Island villa continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
