Demi Lovato has shared a viral video of a GB News anchor defending the use of the pronouns 'they' and 'them' when describing non-binary people.
The Confident singer, 28, - who recently came out as non-binary - took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a clip of journalist Tom Harwood.
In the now viral video the political commentator says it 'sounded completely normal' using 'they' and 'them' to describe someone whose gender is unknown.

In the video, taken from a recent debate on GB News about whether the use of the pronouns was 'changing language' he said: 'I would say that we're not changing language - if I were to talk to someone who is a bloke I would say 'he'.
'If I were to talk to someone who is a woman I would say 'she' and if I was to talk about someone who I didn't know what their gender was what would I call them, what would I call them?
'Oh wait I just did it three times, I said they and them and it sounded completely normal.'

Demi shared the clip - which now has 1.6 million views on TikTok - with their 110million followers with the caption: 'there's nothing new about they + them.'
