Kyle Sandilands has rubbished a false conspiracy theory he was paid by the government to promote the Covid-19 vaccine.
The radio presenter, who has received two does of the Pfizer vaccine, on Thursday released a music video called 'Get Vaxxed Baby' encouraging Australians to book their vaccination with their local GP.
The song, set to the tune of Vanilla Ice's 1990 hit Ice Ice Baby, has gone viral on social media and even drawn praise from Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

But some skeptics, mainly anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists, have falsely claimed the 50-year-old KIIS FM host was paid to endorse the vaccine rollout.
Sandilands confirmed on Friday he hadn't been paid to record the song or its video, and simply wanted to spread a positive message about getting vaccinated.
He said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show: 'A lot of people think I got paid. I got paid nothing. I wasn't asked to do it. It was something we just came up with.'
