Richard Madeley was seen stocking up on his favourite snack during an outing to a London deli on Monday.

The TV host, 65, was seen exiting the shop with bagfuls of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Blasted Cheddar snacks, which he carried to his car.

Richard looked relaxed as he walked along with the imported snacks before heading off his car.

The morning TV legend cut a casual figure in a white tee, jeans and leather brogues for his shopping day.

Richard isn't the only famous face with a penchant for the crackers, they are also the guilty pleasure of MTV Siesta Key star, Kelsey Owens.

The outing comes after Richard spoke  earlier this month about being 'really badly bullied' at school when he was aged 12.

The star said that he 'felt a sense of shame at being targeted' during the difficult time when he was at Grammar School.

Speaking on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain alongside Susanna Reid and Ranvir Singh about online abuse, he said he was happy he grew up without social media.

He said: 'I was at school long before social media and I got really badly bullied through the first two years of my Grammar School, when I was about 12 and 13 years old.

'I dread to think had we been online as well, it just would have been a nightmare.'

He added: 'I didn't report it. It was a sense of shame, not a sense of fear, that I was being targeted.'

Richard previously discussed his experience on Loose Men, a special episode of Loose Women to mark Mental Health Awareness in May.
