The Project hosts Carrie Bickmore, Waleed Aly and Peter Helliar delivered a touching on-air tribute to their co-host Gorgi Coghlan on Wednesday, after she announced she was leaving the show.
Despite Gorgi, 45, being absent from the panel, the hosts said they were 'sad to see her go' at the end of the episode, before sharing their experiences of working with her over the years.
'Before we go, we wanted to say a huge thank you for all your heartfelt messages about Gorgi leaving the show,' Carrie, 40, said to viewers.

'We are sad to see her go as well - she’ll always be part of The Project family. We love you Gorgi, and we wish you all the best.'
Peter was quick to chime in: 'I think I’m going to miss you the most, as your laugh makes my jokes 20 per cent funnier.'
Waleed added: 'It has been a privilege to work with you, no doubt stay in touch. Thanks so much for your contribution.'

On Tuesday, Gorgi, 45, said it wasn't an 'easy decision' to leave her role, but told Daily Mail Australia she is 'working on a couple of projects' and is focusing on her boutique hotel The Provincial in Ballarat.
She confirmed her resignation in an Instagram post.
'After a lot of reflecting, I've made the big decision to step away from The Project,' she wrote.

'It hasn't been an easy decision but after 10 YEARS on this wonderful show I feel that it's time. I really love broadcasting and I've missed it this year.'
The Victorian-born reporter went on to say that she's always known when the time was right to 'discover new adventures'.
Gorgi, who started hosting the show when she was pregnant with her now 10-year-old daughter Molly-Rose, added: 'Over 10 years I've laughed, shed tears, interviewed Prime Ministers, superstars and incredible humans who have faced tragic circumstances.
