House of Gucci will recount the dissolution of the couple’s marriage, along with how Reggiani ordered a hit on her ex-husband in 1995, leading to his death and her ensuing imprisonment.
The Ridley Scott film will also explore the other power players in the embattled Italian fashion dynasty, who are being portrayed by the likes of Oscar winners Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Jared Leto.
House of Gucci, due in theaters in the US by Thanksgiving and the UK on November 26th, is based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden.
