Cameron began the conversation by expressing that she had presumed that everyone around her had known about her sexuality.
She stated that, prior to the story's publishing, 'I think I thought that I was out...I was sort of living my life as a queer girl and then woman.'
The Liv And Maddie actress also remarked that, as she was confident with who she was at the time, 'I didn't think it was necessary to come out in that way.'
The performer then noted that, following the story's publishing, she became the focus of media attention, although she was focused on her own well-being.
