According to New Idea, The Tomorrow When the War Began actor shared his sadness about losing the gig on Instagram.
He posted a photo of Katherine in the Top End, where he was going to be based.
'Hope everyone in lockdown is doing ok,' he wrote. 'Yesterday I was meant to fly here to shoot on a beautiful Northern Territory tv show for 6 weeks but with borders locked down they've now had to recast.'
