Fearne Cotton has revealed that she made the decision to leave Radio 1 in 2015 for the sake of her mental health.
Speaking in an interview with Red magazine, the star, 39, explained: 'I had to walk away because it was literally ruining my mind.'
Fearne also touched upon the perception that 'people on TV are perfect people with perfect lives', calling the notion 'b******s'.

The mother-of-two also candidly discussed her marriage to musician Jesse Wood, who she wed in 2014, saying that they are 'more in love than ever'.
She gushed: 'We've been together for more than 10 years now and we're probably more in love than we've ever been. We're in a good place – an ever-undulating but good place.'
Elsewhere in the interview, the former Celebrity Juice panellist revealed that her partying days are firmly in the past and that she is 'really happy being in bed by 10pm and reading a nice book'.
