Louise Thompson feels 'really heavy' after gaining over a stone and says her 'muscular body and fine-tuned diet has gone out the window.'

The Made In Chelsea star, 31, who's expecting her first baby with personal trainer fiancé Ryan Libbey, 31, confessed to struggling with the physical changes since falling pregnant, after identifying with being 'fit' and maintaining a healthy eating regime for the last four years.

In an exclusive interview, the mother-to-be said she no longer feels 'in control' of her own body due to going from being able to physically see her muscles to now suffering from loss of breath when she walks up the stairs.

Louise told MailOnline: 'I already feel really heavy, which is fine because it's part of the process but I've put on probably a stone and a half and I don't mind the weight gain – it's the actual discomfort of carrying around a new body.

'I'm 5ft so there's really no space for it to go. I have such a small abdomen, if I eat and now lockdown has lifted I keep going for three course meals, add in an enormous uterus and a baby, Ryan looks at me and says "Louise needs to go home" – he can see I suddenly go quiet and breathing like I'm having a panic attack.

'It's hard because a lot of my identity was wrapped up in being really fit. I dedicated four years to it and I really loved the person I had become because I was working out 3-4 times a week and I was so light on my feet and I could basically do anything.

'I have so much empathy for people that even carry a bit more weight because it's harder, life is actually harder. At the beginning I thought I would be an Olympian that carries on training throughout my entire pregnancy and I thought I'd be really stoic about it but I didn't realise how fit I was before until this hit me.'
