They already brought scandal to The Block on Sunday night, after breaking the number-one rule that only contestants are allowed to paint their property.

And it appears there's more drama set to come from Love Island Australia twins Josh and Luke Packham in an upcoming episode, according to New Idea.

The rebellious brothers will reportedly find themselves in hot water after they 'abandon' their worksite and 'go missing' during a wild night out in Melbourne.

'There was definitely a feeling that they were perhaps not taking the work seriously, especially in the first week of the competition,' a source claimed.

The move apparently left All Stars Ronnie and Georgia Caceres 'furious', and caused 'quite the headache' for producers given The Block and the Victorian government's zero-tolerance regulation for alcohol on construction sites. 

'It would seem you can't take the Love Island out of the boys,' a source quipped of the rumoured escape.

'The situation made the producers very nervous that the boys might be a handful.'

Daily Mail Australia have contacted Nine for further comment.
