KIIS FM star Kyle Sandilands has long been open about his health problems over the years. And on his radio show on Friday, the shock jock revealed his latest health scare. Kyle said that his doctor is 'very worried' because his 'blood pressure is through the roof' and warned if he's not careful he could 'instantly die'. 'I went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor is very worried, I'm on all these heavy blood pressure medications because I'm a maniac,' Kyle said. 'Blood pressure is still through the roof. He was very angry.' Kyle said the doctor told him he needs to instantly de-stress to control his blood pressure, but Kyle said he has a number of concerns at the moment, including about a close friend's wife who is pregnant and in hospital and quite unwell. He said his doctor even asked about drug use, asking him: 'How are you going with the cocaine?' Kyle said he told the doctor he hasn't touched the drug in a very long time. 'I'm eating better than ever before and I lost 6kgs. I got on the scales and it was 139kg,' he said. His co-host Jackie O was concerned for Kyle and remarked: 'Weight goes hand in hand with health'. She told Kyle she doesn't want him stressing at work and warned producers to be on their A-game for Kyle. The mother-of-one sweetly added: 'We have to keep you calm and healthy'. 'I could die - that means at any stage at any time day or night,' Kyle said. Kyle showed host Karl Stefanovic his home blood pressure machine could not even give a reading because his pressure was so high. He said though there was a sign of improvement - with one recent promising reading almost reducing him to tears. 'Two weeks ago I had the machine on and the blood pressure was good for the first time in 15 years,' he said. 'That's when I got all emotional I started to well up, and nearly cried because I thought "Oh, maybe my pressure is under control. Maybe I won't just die one day."' He had taken cocaine and marijuana 'on and off' over the years, before deciding to completely cut them out of his life - as well as alcohol and sugary junk food.
