Angelina Jolie has revealed new details about her relationship with Brad Pitt, telling The Guardian that they fought about Pitt's decision to work with Harvey Weinstein.
Jolie said 'it hurt' to see her then-partner work with the disgraced producer after she claims she narrowly escaped being assaulted by him when they worked together in the late 90s.
'It was hard for me when Brad did,' she said, later adding: 'We fought about it. Of course it hurt.'
This came years before the Me Too movement, which sparked a sexual assault reckoning in Hollywood in 2017.

The 46-year-old Maleficent actress was married to the 57-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor from 2014-2016, but they were together for over ten years.
Angelina worked with Weinstein while filming Playing By Heart when she was 21-years-old.
During that time she said the disgraced film producer attempted to sexually assault her, but she was able to escape.
