Sharon Johal has spoken out in detail about the trauma of suffering a late miscarriage while on the set of Neighbours last year.
In an open editorial for Mamamia on Friday, the 33-year-old actress sensationally claimed the stress of her job may have contributed to her heartbreaking loss.
'I was getting up for work at 4.30am every day, finishing late, and new restrictions had been placed in our workplace to disallow leaving the premises for any given reason, even to go home and rest on a six hour break,' she wrote.

'As my job involved being in front of the camera, I was unable to 'work from home' and I felt I couldn't take a sick day, as we were already dealing with other cast and crew unable to attend out of safety concerns regarding COVID-19, pushing us further and further behind schedule.
'It was a huge imposition on the production to take any time off in a culture where it wasn't encouraged.'
Sharon said she was 13 weeks along in her pregnancy, and had been on set since 6am, when she felt a 'sharp cramping pain in my stomach and back' mid-scene.
