Newsreaders Jessica Rowe and Peter Overton have sold their family mansion in Sydney's upmarket suburb of Vaucluse for $8.175 million, as they prepare to upgrade to a larger home nearby.
The TV couple had listed the four-bedroom property with a $7million price guide two weeks ago, but the home exceeded all expectations when it went under the hammer at a virtual auction on Tuesday night.
Not only did it sell for more than a $1million above its guide, but it also smashed the reserve by about $500,000, reports Domain.
