Extra is returning for its 28th season on Monday and anchor Jenn Lahmers chatted exclusively with DailyMailTV host Thomas Roberts about its star-studded lineup of guests as the show begins a worldwide search for a new New York-based correspondent.
After previous Extra correspondent 'New York Nate' - formally Nate Burleson - 'dropped the mic' and left to co-host CBS This Morning alongside Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil, the show is looking for someone to pick it up.
'These are big shoes to fill,' Lahmers said. Burleson, who became a correspondent on the show in 2019 and also served as an NFL co-host on Good Morning Football and a studio analyst for the CBS Sports pre-game show The NFL Today.
'We're looking at everybody from social media influencers... we're looking at sports stars (and) reporters,' the 36-year-old added.
