Dermot O'Leary has revealed he and Alison Hammond were forced to have a 'very frank' chat following an 'awkward on-air moment' that took place shortly after they took over This Morning's Friday slot as co-hosts in January.
Speaking in a new interview, doting father Dermot, 48, explained that he and Alison, 46, 'were thrown together with no time to prepare,' with Dermot saying: 'We literally met for the first time in 15 years or so and that morning we presented two-and-a-half hours of live television together.'Insurance Loans Mortgage Attorney Credit Lawyer
Adding that he and Alison 'both did something that the other didn't like' live on air, Dermot said he and his co-presenter were forced to hash things out.

Speaking to The Sun in a new interview, he explained: 'We both did something that the other didn't like – nothing major – but after it happened we looked at each other, and I said: ''You didn't like it when I did that, did you?''
'And she said no, she didn't. And I said: ''OK, well I didn't like it when you did that thing''.'
He added: 'And we both laughed, because now we knew. The most important thing is to find out what annoys the other and make sure you don't do it again.'
Dermot added that he now sees Alison 'as a sister'
